Outlook for 2001: Beard is entering his first year with the Iguanas after transferring from Emmanuel College where he played #1 singles for 2 years. He will hold down the #3 singles spot and will team with Vlad this year in doubles. Beard is known for his knack for getting to everything, his peanut shots,  and his first serve.
