Outlook for 2001: Gillespie is entering his 2nd season with the Iguanas after an up and down first year.  He will hold down the #4 singles spot and will again team with Carrion this year in doubles. Gillespie is known for his power game from the baseline and his second serve.

Year 2000: Gillespie teamed with Carrion to post a very impressive 4-2 doubles record during the dual match season. The only losses came to nationally ranked doubles teams.  He had a somewhat dissapointing singles season going 2-6.
